Kids concerts in Linz with heart and love
Kinderklangreise offers kids concerts in Linz for babies and toddlers aged 0-3 years. Each concert has a duration of around 30 minutes and takes place in small groups of up to 15 children. The performances are presented with classical instruments to create a loving and stimulating atmosphere. Here, the little ones can explore the world of music in a playful way. Through our arts and culture association, Listen Linz, which also organizes Sofar Sounds concerts in Linz, we have built up expertise over the past eight years.

What are Kids conerts in Linz?
Our baby concerts are classical live performances presented by professional musicians and specially designed for families with babies. The main target group is children aged 0 to 3, which is why the concert takes place in a cozy blanket-on-the-floor atmosphere. Older toddlers and siblings are, of course, also very welcome – and enjoy free admission until their 18th birthday.
How long is a typiall kids conert in Linz?
The duration of a conert is 30min.
Who is the conert organiser?
The concerts are organized by the arts and culture association Listen Linz. The creator and initiator is Phillip Burmester.
Why are baby concerts and children’s concerts so important?
It is scientifically proven that classical music has a calming and stimulating effect on babies. Long-term studies, for example, show that premature babies stabilize more quickly when they regularly experience the vibrations of classical instruments live.
Our goal is to give young families the opportunity to enjoy culture together – as a couple with a baby, or together with the whole family and friends.
What if my baby or child is loud?
Babies and children are, of course, allowed to make noise and behave just as babies or toddlers naturally do – after all, there are only understanding listeners in the audience.
What kind of classical music is performed live?
We kindly ask all adults to remember that this is a concert. Please keep conversations to a quiet whisper. Eating and making rustling noises should also be reserved for the little concertgoers. Thank you for your understanding! Parents are responsible for their babies and children.
Are there diaper-changing facilities?
Yes. We are in a kindergarten, and there are plenty of diaper-changing facilities available.
How do you sit at a baby concert? What if I have trouble sitting on a blanket for 30 minutes?
There are no fixed rows of chairs in the room – instead, each family brings their own blanket and makes themselves comfortable on the floor with their baby. For those who cannot sit on a blanket for long periods, such as pregnant women, grandparents, or people with health limitations, chairs are, of course, available. However, experience has shown that for awake babies, it is often more pleasant when their parents sit with them on the blanket – sitting in a chair can quickly become uncomfortable. We also provide blankets, but these are limited.
Where can I put my stroller?
We are in a kindergarten, so there is plenty of space for strollers.
I’m pregnant. Is the concert also for me?
The concert is suitable for pregnant women, as babies in the womb already respond positively to classical live music. You can sit on a blanket or ask us for a chair if you feel more comfortable that way.
Is there any food or drink available on site?
Yes. We have a coffee machine and will offer sugar-free pastries for free or contribution. Your decision.
What if I or my baby/toddler are sick on the day of the concert?
Please contact us EARLY, at least one day before the concert. We will find a solution.
